DESCRIPTION:
Chauncey Ives, Bristol, Conn., 30 hour, time and strike weight wood movement half column & splat shelf clock.
CONDITION:
Mahogany and mahogany veneered case has been partially refinished with some loss to the original stenciling on the columns and veneer repairs on the base.. The top splat is a replacement. Original painted dial now has a clear coat finish and has some loss on the right side. Original hands. Tablet is a replacement. Bone key escutcheon is missing. The dark label now has a heavy clear coating over it.
